Plenty of FC fans on here have said that Clinton will be an excellent signing. You could argue that some rovers fans slating O'Meley and Fitzgibbon is just the same.

FWIW i think the Clinton deal is a certainty, especially now the agreement is in place for the NHS to pay for the stand developments.

Fans' opinions nearly always cover a wide spectrum of opinion and in the main, most of the Brisbane fans' opinions were generally positive about what Clinton brought to the Broncos only I'm not sad enough to troll through them to get a suitable quote - get a life FFS...

I can just go on what I see week in-week out in the NRL and the fact that even Wayne Bennett couldn't extract anything worth his paypacket from him.

Apart from one very good season at Panthers he has never impressed me as anything other than a fair bench quality prop.

I think he'll go ok. He is very much in teh Vella mode. Fast,s trong and will run all day. He hasn't fitted in at Brisbane, not helped by his dalliance with a girl in a motel!, but he is a decent enough player to do a job for us. I'd take him over O'Smelly but probably not over Fitzgibbon.

Quite true. He has an opportunity to build on his best season with the club where he won some respect with all and sundry. I would like to see him stick around though I ain't going lose sleep over it if he leaves.

As some people on here have been selectively reading and then prematurely ejaculating at some quotes on the Broncos forum about Clinton I decided to go and have a look for myself. There is a mixture of opinion on him, some saying he wouldn't be a big loss (which some have found it necessary to bring to our attention) and others saying that last season was his best and one that he could certainly build on as well as stating that their front row looks weaker without him. (its funny that these quotes were missed by the proof readers)

All that matters is how he plays for Hull Kingston Rovers and I'm very confident we'll be pleased with this guy.
