Williams didn't dictate at Catalan until Pryce was binned for securing his long term future, I agree about the Long at Saints bit, but that was a while ago now.. We must have both watched a different Sneyd, strange that.

| Quote ="Mild Rover"Well it's a spectrum, but I wouldn't put them alongside players renowned for pulling the strings. Pryce had always been more of a runner, and Sneyd from what I've seen and read on here seems closer to somebody like Myler than, for example a Dobson or (even more so) a Deacon. Finn is more their type I think, if not necessarily quite the same quality.'"
Pryce, in the past has been mainly a runner, and I sure hop we're not planning to rely on his kicking game. But his game has adapted over the last couple of years at Catalan, especially after Dureau had his health scare and stopped playing. He organised whilst relying on Bosc's boot for the long kicking game.
I wouldn't say Sneyd is much like Myler, he doesn't have his pace for starters. I imagine Sneyd will be somewhat shielded by Pryce, allowing him to develop his game and settle in, it'll be nice to have that for us.

| Well having watched the titans first two games of 2014 we seem to have signed a 7 with a very good kicking game. Better than Dobson's. Mr Kelly scored 3 tries from his own half all his own work. Was the broadcasters man of the match in both.
I'm with Capoza. Rovers have signed a top quality player.
From the press I've read he continues this form until fracturing his tibia. Then a torn muscle then can't play due to the Cronulla ban. Some coup by Mr Smith getting this guy. The real titans fans are gutted.
I'm afraid 1865 is another caravan botherer. He clearly hasn't watched any titans games.
Kelly is a skyscraper level above Rankin.

| I see a thread has been derailed again by a ridiculous debate over 'rival' half backs, instigated by a poster who obviously is a troll and a very good one at that to have suckered so many in.
Keep supplying him with oxygen and he will continue to live, whereas starving him and eventually he will die and wither.
If not, why not open up a thread to 'debate~' this nonsense.
I'm wondering if Rovers will bring in an overseas prop to fill the quota spot left vacant by Justin's expected retirement?

Would prefer a tackle busting 2nd row.

| From what I've heard there after Dudson and Burke from
Wigan but hopefully Dudson will choose Salford or parramatta instead of us and we can use our last spot on a prop because I think we definitely need another senior forward

Absolute rubbish.
You say I haven't watched many Titans games after basing your opinion on 'having watched the Titans first two games'. You sir are a special kind of stupid.

Trolling? I gave an honest assessment on a player I've watched for the last two years, the fact your fellow fans refuse to accept it based on the fact I'm an FC fan is pitiful on their part.

I'm aware Dudson is welsh my point being if we signed him we probably aren't gonna be signing another forward too. If we sign Myler and Lunt lets not pretend money isn't a big factor so salary cap space is an issue. Btw I'm also aware he's a prop I've got a good knowledge of rugby cheers

Wasn't having a go, just thought you'd maybe mistaken him with someone non fed. If Poore goes I'd assume that will free up a decent chunk of cash.

| Quote ="Brad Ricks, deputy sports editor at the Gold Coast Bulletin"
“In open space, Kelly is a freak with incredible footwork,” he told the Mail.
“Kelly is the pick of the two signings and has incredible talent, but this season he has had problems with injuries.
“He is an organising half-back who is a fantastic game-breaker. He is a super talent and was first choice at the Titans last season.
“He has the attributes to be a modern day full-back and was in such great form that he was close to playing in the City v Country Origin game. He was on the cusp of that but then picked up an injury and missed out.
“If he stays fit and healthy he can be sensational.”'"
Hmmmm, who to believe. The deputy sports editor of the paper based where Kelly has played, or a troll based 12,000 miles away with a clear agenda to put down HKR in order to inflate his own teams mediocre signings? It's certainly a tough one.

Whilst not knowing who is available, you will be up against Saints Wigan and Huddersfield who are all looking to add props to their rosters before the start of next season if rumours are to be believed...

| Kelly has never shown any organisation skills during the two years i've watched him play, he's off the cuff and a very good runner of the football capable of flashes of brilliance.
I have no 'agenda' and to suggest I have is just laziness.

Totally agree. Perhaps someone from the minor leagues, one player sticks out and is in the NSW Cup 'Dream' team - Jim Simpson. Perhaps Roopy can offer a profile?
