You must be very naïve or deluded if you think Albo is on a paltry salary. Yes he may not be on the same as was with us (which was the highest earner), but will be on nothing less then £100k, he could earn the same or maybe more on a second tier contract in the NRL.

Id imagine he took a good chunk of Prickchards salary, who bear in mind was a marquee player.

Knights are still targeting 2018 onwards. They have the best group of 20/21/22 year olds possible, and have freed up 2 million of salary cap space for 2018. It's a bold plan, but it seems to be coming together.
Stone is a good man who knows his footy. He has never had a good squad to work with, but has always managed to get the most out of the squads he has had.
Gidley is a shadow of his former self, but he just doesn't know how to stop trying. He'll keep going till someone does the merciful thing and puts him down.

continuing with the banal........I remember Keith Pollard playing prop for Rovers in what must have been the early to mid 60s. He was pretty young when he first got in the first team but never really made it and spent most of his time in the A team. He was built more on the Dave Chisnall model rather than the Eric but was a decent enough player. He left for Keighley and now I know where he went after that.
