He would also need to remember all that formative training he did in the UK that nobody else knows about

| If this signing is true then someone is leaving (Sio?) or has there been a change in the definition of non-UK trained players.
I seem to recall a challenge to this aspect of the Quota system (I think it might have been one of KouKashes rants) but I see the 5 home grown players rule seems to have been abandoned?

| Rumour on Twitter by the usually well informed "@HullKR Analysis" is that Allgood is the one to come off quota.
It doesn't say how it will happen or where the information came from though.

Still counts as Non Fed though wouldn't he, which Rovers have the maximum amount don't there?
Surely you wouldn't sign an outside back, although your centres look pretty weak.

| If there is any rationale to this signing, I am going to attempt to justify it below. Shoot me down in flames if you disagree.
Salter still touch and go for the Cas game; Minns inexperienced; Blair likely to play in the halves alongside Albo as Marsh ineffective; Horne needed in the second row, where we are desperately short of bodies, size and depth. Sio at fullback. Sio and Horne are unsuitable for the centre position and Chezzie might have finally got the message in this regard.
Samoan Sami has played at centre twice for the NSW Cup team of the year in 2014 and 2015, the first time alongside Josh Mantellato. Mitch Allgood is a jock. # It's all McGood.
PS - He's cheap

| Surely if Mitch comin off the quota meant us having a spot left... It should have been put to better use. I.e. A big back rower preferably by the name of tony Williams. yet again everyone can see we need more power up front... So what do we do... Sign a back!! Typical

| The YouTube footage of his 2014 highlights is a decent watch, but the centre who puts him away all the time looks a better player!

| Surely more likely to be some get around with mantellato never having played a first grade game other than over here than allgood suddenly no longer being non fed, unless sio is off or you're de-registering an overseas player who may be out injured for longer than originally thought?

| He must be decent, in the reserve grade dream team 2 years running, and was centre to mantellato one season in the dream team and mantellato has been a good signing. The NSW cup is still a pretty good standard as dobbo will know,a star here and reserve grade in oz.

| What are the board playing at? We needed a second rower not another back. Now James Green is knocking back contract talks, he must be as sick of the numpties running this club as I am.

He is 6 foot tall and 17 stone and apparently can play wing, centre or second row....

'Sauluma is a versatile player who comes from Cronulla, while Lynch is a young prop from Canberra.
The duo will train for seven weeks although it’s likely the club will extend their trial period past Christmas.
“He’s a centre-winger but he played in the backrow for the Sharks last year,” Henry said of Sauluma.
