Craig is being ruined by Hull and they'll do the same to Briscoe. Why the hell Houghton isn't getting a game I don't know, I'd have him at Rovers!

Yet Zod says Kirk Netherton, who wasn't good enough for Rovers, is a far, far better player than Houghton.

Seriously, ridiculous as it sounds, Tommy Lee has been just about our best player this season and can slot in in the back row or the halves also, so he's rotating with Berrigan at present.

Netherton is getting plenty of gametime at Cas who beat Hull at the KC and are higher in the league table.
Houghton is sat in the stands for the team that finished 11th last season and are heading down the ladder this time round

Hall is possibly the most exciting young back in SL. He has the misfortune to be playing under the worst head coaches in SL history and as a result his development has stalled and he is now regressing. I know Craig very well a nicer kid you could not wish to meet, but the sooner he gets away from Hull FC the better, even Celtic Crusaders would be better for him. Houghton appears to be going the same way. It almost criminal

Lets be honest they have a chance against Salford, Cas and Warrington, but should they lose them, and then go into Leeds and Saints with a nine game losing streak, then things could get a lot worse for the black and whites.

I personally think Houghton hasn't shown much more than dummy-half running, though that could be put down to poor coaching but it's something he needs to sort out.

Re Whelam, Hall has more natural ability but he's flaky where as Whelam is a tough kid who ain't afraid of mixing it in the trenches (even though he's a centre).
