I went to this thing in Leeds the other day, It's called 2.8 hours later. It was amazing.
Basically, you buy a ticket for an upcoming event, they tell you where to meet them and you basically get a map and run through Leeds trying to avoid the Zombies (volunteers that have been made-up to look great), You make the checkpoint and there is a half dead guy (acting, obviously) and he gives you a story and another checkpoint...
It was awesome, The zombies try to seek you out (identifiable by the hi-viz armbands you run around wearing) and they can stamp you with infection, If you get infected you can go get make-up put on to be a Zombie for the remaining rounds, at the end of the day, if you make it to the end (some people got lost and went home) you go through a quarantine to see if you've been infected (some people, regardless of being tagged with the zombie infection, carried on and it's invisible to human eye, they can put the infection on you without knowing by standing close).
The public are all just going about their normal business and wondering why you're hiding behind parked cars and bins and running away from people who look amazingly like Zombies.
Next close one is in Manchester, We're going again!

i did see on dragons den a group of people pitching an idea were they had an abandoned hospital and they dressed as zombies chasing people about do you know if its the same people as they didnt get an investment

So the zombies that infect you obviously aren't dressed up?
I've heard of something similar in London but over a period of time where you assinate people with water pistols.
I'd be way up for that but it doesn't seem to be running any more and is mainly an American thing.

| Ah, so they are dressed up, not sure about the running bit, running and smoking is never a good look, how determined in their chasing are they?
Looks quite a laugh.

In the 28 days later films, the zombie's are sprinting, throthing at the mouth and going mental.
You'd probably prefer a more 'Dawn of the Dead' type zombie. They remind me of some of our East Stand contingent.

| I've never seen those fillems, not really my bag.
Yes. Unathletic zombies are definitely more my kinda gig. If they're going to chase me more than about one hundred and fifty metres than I'll give up. Can you bring a motorbike?

The 28 Days ones are pretty good. Danny Boyle did em, and everyone loves Danny Boyle now.
I'll lend you my moped.

| Didn't realise that, Ms. Terrorist doesn't like horror type fillems, might have a look on netflix, see if they're on.
Is it a Fizzy? If not I don't want it, I'll stick with my Grunter.

| Seven tonight, weight lifting at The eXcel.
Sy lunch with friends first.
Face paint is not an option.
Quite exciting, staying with Ms. Terrorists family in Cov, with that having some football the station's all kitted out with Olympic regalia, helpers, cars and media points.

| Is it me being an old codger or does anyone else feel that the way the media etc are portraying and promoting the Olympics is a bit OTT? Imagine if the BBC gave a quarter of the coverage they give the Olympics to RL.

| It is pretty massive.
It's not so much the quantity as the quality for me. There's not many sports I don't like, and I'll do a bit of research into them, main players, tactics, that sort of thing. It's not hard with internet.
But when you've got Lineker not even understanding that cycling tike trial is an individual event that's poor.
If you're not that into it I can understand it'd be pretty annoying, it's wall to wall.

Me too. I think the coverage has been great. I'm even looking forward to watching the boxing tonight. Come on Luke, bring us a medal back.

| I'd be surprised if Luke doesn't win gold, great lad and an amazing talent. Been in the right hands with Mick Bromby at St Paul's too.

| Former Port Macquarie rugby League junior (the home town of Danny Buderus and Scot Dureau) James Magnussen swims for gold and a world record in 100 metres freestyle tonight.
Apparently he was a very good winger or centre who could have gone all the way in League.

He really already has the world record. No one has swum faster than him without wearing the now banned floatation suits.

| Brad Wiggins is offically Britain's most prolific Olympian. The guy is a legend. Gold and a TdF win, can't quite believe it. I will cycle home with renewed vigour tonight.

| His father rode for both Australia and England - not sure where he was born - but it was a big story here when he died in a gutter as an alcoholic in the Hunter Valley.
