The well was not sold out, plenty of space. They looked plenty of seats in the RM to me. More then half of the north was empty and obviously none in the south.

You're right, in terms of marketing the actual game, we seemed more inclined to milk Mason's arrival in the short term - training/dinners n what not. Maybe we decided his arrival was enough for the game this week. Hopefully we might push our next home game (SKY) against Hudds with a poster on Princess Quay and maybe an offer or two.

I have said it on the VT and I will repeat it here....your gates to date are 14% up on the corresponding fixtures last year....2,319 MORE people have rolled up so far...so about 40k more in the clubs coffers. As the sun gets warmer and you climb up the table you will get bigger crowds....but Huddersfield on TV won't help.
8,347 is your average so far.....you only had 5 bigger gates than that in 2010.....I think you will average over 9k by the end of the season.

Hey I've been a season pass holder for last 6 seasons and go to away matches

I don't think the crowd was diassappointing at all given who the opposition were and the time of year etc. When it starts warming up and we start playing the bigger teams here I think the attendances will go up.

Also, its very, very early in the season, nothing can be won or lost at this stage of the competition and I think that may detract a little in terms of bringing casual fans in to see the games.

Overall a big up on the same fixture last year so thumbs up KR
