Its probably nearer to the pitch than any stand at the KC.

Whilst your partners at the KC use specialist equipment and an army of workmen in an unsuccesful effort to make conditions safe for the proposed Chelsea game it'll be interesting to see how many of the faithful you can muster for a similar operation next week for the charity operation via your own board.

Surely your club will put similar rescources into trying to get the game on for such a loyal player who has given ten years of service rather than leaving it to both the volunteers who have currently put their names forward

is the game likely to go ahead does anyone know? only 7/8 football games gone ahead today for safety reason (mainly travelling) so if this awful weather does keep up....

But let be honest its only a short walk from admiral to the KC so travelling isnt such a big issue surely?

Latest forecast to this time next week shows more snow tomorrow but no more after that and temperatures getting a bit warmer.

I'd suggest there are a number of different reasons why rovers fans may give this game a miss and probably none of them have to do with horney himself.

Michael Fish on your own board aka Standee states that all the snow will be gone for thursday .......but then again he stated the East stand extension wouldn't be built......that Graham Horne was signing for Rovers...that

( you get the gist).....so i'd go for at least another ten days of snow and freezing temperatures.

Well, these reasons can't include wanting to deprive FC of any income, as FC have no financial interest in the fixture, only Richard Horne and the SMC.
Nor can they include the team being academy only as Morgan has already said that all first teamers will play.
Maybe one reason is Rovers decision to play 5 friendlies in a fortnight.

Fox recovered from the injury he got in the international, Walker did exceptional to rehab so quickly from such a bad injury and Clinton's got his visa and flown in. Thanks for this update Mrs B.

And I believe the game in July at Rovers had 2 league points at stake. Shame on you

The point here is that plenty are "boycotting" Horne's testimonial and justifying it on the back of tosh like FC fans not going to the CP derby last year. If you're cross about that, don't go to the KC SL derby as a tit-for-tat. Horne's testimonial is something completely separate and FC have no financial interest in it.

Morgan and Hudgell to their credit have both talked in glowing terms about Horne and encouraged Rovers fans to attend.
