At FC, he was clearly inside the top-25 earners so it's not comparable.

The point I'm making is that your club's wage structure is why you are such a poor team and our wage structure is why we are such a good team.

FC wouldn't offer Greame Horne 18k

Rovers wouldn't offer Berrigan 180k

In terms of having in the squad as injury cover, then fair enough signing. If he gets anywhere near the 1st team on a regular basis then i'd be worried.

I'd agree with that on both counts.

Horne isn't as bad as some make out, and he is versatile. His main problems are a lack of consistency and a tendency to make stupid mistakes. Used as cover he should be a decent signing, but you don't want to be relying on him week in and week out.
