They weren't that good when they played us the other week and only won by virtue of kicking more goals. Their 4 tries came in 2 lots of back to back sets and other than that Hull kept them pretty much at bay. They did score 2 great long range tries and you have to be at your best for every minute of the game otherwise they will punish you. smith will be a big loss for them as everything goes through him

I would say you are closer to Amsterdam than Leeds. You may need to check if you have at least 6 months left on your passport.
On a serious note. There were plenty of Leeds fans in our East stand without incident. A bit of friendly banter and nothing more. It has got to be better than the South. There should be enough space for everyone. |

Given your success in predicting Rovers ascent above FC in the second half of last season based on home/away fixture weighting etc, how do you think Rovers "homeward 9" will pan out? This is the blind optimism thread, but I trust your impartial realism implicitly. |

There is a perfect storm............. where Wigan are injury hit and way below their best.......Rovers produce their very best and give the very best they have...................................
On the day .................and it is a very rare day....................Rovers are just too good for Wigan.
So naturally Rovers gift the game to Wigan anyway.
A Greg Eden loose carry? Or maybe a Con Mika burst onto a short pass at 100 mph rebounding off his chest? Perhaps a 5th tackle penalty on our own line after 3 lung busting heroic double sets?
Somehow, some way this Rovers team will find a way.
