I can't understand why Leigh v KR isn't being televised somewhere, Haven v Fax, hardly a glamour match.

Somewhere deep inside the BBC a director with responsibility for diversity has taken the decision to cover "regional events".
Hense why we get Bog Snokling, Cheese Rolling and Haggis Bashing on the box at obscure times.

Well it would seem the same public servent has placed the Challenge cup in the same category.

According to our owner Derek B, both clubs have to agree to it being televised, as their is no financial compensation for games streamed live.
Apparantly the Beeb wanted to show Salford v Toronto, that was refused by the clubs (or maybe just Salford) Don't know if they approached Leigh or Hull KR, but it is defintely the TIE of the round.
Could go either way, but because we are at home, we will be slight favourites....(even though at the moment we are **** at the LSV)

Budgie, we (Leigh) will struggle to turn out 17 players on Saturday - I have just emptied my skybet account on KR win.

I know our (Leigh) squad isn't technically 'weak' but I think some players are 'carrying slight knocks' and could do with a week off (like a lot of other clubs I know).
Personally I'd be more concerned about our 'current form' rather than the fact we are missing 'definite starters' Higham, Maria, Brown, Tonga, & Paterson. (only 5 admittedly)

Either way that's a big pack Leigh have named.Tickle Stewart Hanson Hock add in the french hooker who specialises in e housing and looks a tough ask for our pack to match.Lunt being back is probably the biggest positive for us.

it would be very unproffesional of your club to play players who are injured or carrying knocks, for something that realistically you will not win (the cup). a lot more chance of staying in superleague so keep them fresh
