I'd like to see us go with another blue and red home shirt next year.

I'll be buying both think they are great, would like HKR to be able to produce the centenary shirt in its true form again I bought the replica and to say I was disappointed I an understatement it s a jumper !

Everyone is entitled to one Bas.For what its worth ,in mine I think the shirt would have looked better with a straight line joining the white slighly higher up.Not too keen on ours either.

Any shirt on that lass would grow on me.

My missus reckons that it may have looked better if the red had been at the top and the white part at the bottom, she says it would then have more in common with a red robin for which of course we are known as.
I rarely like to aggree with her but on this ocasion she may have a point,

any way, my 17 year old nephew likes it and so do i, so we will be purchasing a couple of them either just before or just after Christmas.

Bought the away shirt yesterday, very pleased with it.



Not bothering with the home shirt (first time since 02 I've not got it). Decided couldn't justify buying both, + have got a few retro home ones to wear anyway, inc the 98 Avec one (red with blue & white 'flashes') which imo is just an utter classic.

Not a fan of your home kit. The away isn't bad but I guess it could have been far worse:

I know not everyones cup of tea but I do like the Riding Bitter shirt and wish I got it at the time. We always have liked a bit of Orange on our shirts

Conroy I have to be honest - I love all three of those away shirts!

Utter 90's classics IMO, I bought the Riding Bitter one for about £15-£20 from that popular auction site a few years ago, really wish I owned the first two as well.

Although it was dark times off the pitch, there's something about the visits to York, Keighley, Dewsbury etc that I miss. Not that I would change our SL status for anything, but there was a tight-knit feel about the club and fans back then, was an amazing sight turning up at away grounds and seeing Rovers outnumber the home support by 2-1 or 3-1.

Got that one signed and framed with all the team sigs on. Gave me a headache looking at it so I now wear it and give the wife a headache.

I thought the words "How about it?" brought that on.

No words needed. she has headaches coming on 6 months before my birthday and christmas.

Been in the shop today to get my lad the home shirt and low and behold its out of stock and none due in until after Xmas. Our merchandising needs to be so much better organized than it is.

Maybe they thought they did. Maybe they thought they wouldn't sell as well as they have. If they'd have got too many and they'd not sold then they would be out of pocket.

Apparently this is what has happened in previous years. It's got to be about maximising profits rather than sales.

Or fancy having the audacity to think about supply and demand, and getting enough in so that you can sell more

Erm maybe they did and they've sold a lot more than expected.

Anyway rather than bitch on here, why doesn't everyone get in touch with the club if it wrangles with you that much.

Yer I tried buying one of them the other day too and believe it or not, they didn't have any of them in either....

Like fc minting so many season ticket cards they are going to lose money for having so many left.

Who cares? Not me. Why do you care so much about the amount of shirts we ordered?
