So, not only do you not understand the basic mathematic concept of mean/average, you can't articulate what you mean either. I don't know why I am surprised at either point.

But if the capacity is 14,000, you have to get a full house every week, ie 14,000, as there is no scope for getting any more to offset any sub-14,000 attendances.

That's very true, but also not the point. I wasn't discussing Rovers capacity plans or indeed the perceived future averages. I was merely pointing out obvious flaws in the posters logic.

Rovers will do well to get the capacity up to 14,000 over the next few years. I don't expect them to acheive an average gate above 11,000 even when that capacity is realised.

Regardless of what stand and facilities any club has I go to support my team, dosnt matter about a crap view in an uncovered stand! Obviously 'in any kind of weather' dosnt apply to some of your lot! =#BF0000Good on them the loyal FC fans that did turn up by the way.
Price dosnt come into it either because when i'm paying £20 or less I don't care if I sit or stand wherever that may be.
=#FF0000The south stand will be sorted in time but at the moment its not a priority, the east stand being extended is as we know we have a chance of filling it and increase revenue. No point building a stand that is only going to be filled once a season if you decide to turn up.
Yes you could fill our ground no problem so why don't you try filling the south stand for a start and support your team!

The supporters in general you speak of who don't turn up have a choice but please dont make up excuses for them, views and facilities are good at some grounds bad at others, i go regardless as you maybe do, your lot filled the stand the first two seasons and last season made the excuse it was expensive for the crap view but in reality they expected a beating. I know its a crap view i've stood in there but i was there for my team as you were.

Yes it is , so if you have a 14,000 capacity , you play 10 games you get 140,000 fans through the gates , divided by 10 gives 14,000

Too many clubs lack ambition and action. Hull KR have been succesful because of the ambition.

To reach this target they need a good product on the pitch, the right prices, the right place maybe a new stadium or an improved one and also good promotion and marketing. If all teams in super league could do that, everyone could average over 10,000.
