According to Dave Parker he has the choice of Whitehaven and South Wales whilst Leigh have invited him down to train with them. One of lifes great mysteries is where it all went wrong for David Mills.

I didnt expect him to, to be honest, he seemed to have lost his fire well before then. But on the other hand he did have a decent first season with us.

Very similar to Stuart Fielden's brother, Jamie. A massive unit who, on appearances, looked like he would eat defences for breakfast. Sadly, he had no heart whatsover and never broke a single tackle in his short career.

He did reasonably well for us in his first season , but didn't kick on from there.

its a strange one the david Mills senario, most fans never saw anything in him, no guts, no passion, yet Morgan went on to hand him an extension. the Mills contract extension and Garrat Crossman signing show that JM is only human afterall.

to be fair after his first season for us mills had earned an extension imho, he certainly didn't earn more than a 1 year deal though that's were we screwed up for me

Morgan has got things right the majority of the time, very few times he has got things maybe a little wrong as you have highlighted above. Not sure the Crossman signing was as big a mistake as you may think, possibly he just never settled as many overseas players dont in thier first seasons. Plus as mentioned by Sandy, Mills did deserve a year extension but not the 2 he got IMO.

Morgan has been incredible for us and I hope he continues with the excellent job he is doing.

i think the best you will ever get from David Mills is "ok" hes a 6 out of 10 player IMHO. shame though as he has the size to be a big hit.
