Saying that I and others pay less than Rovers fans for the derby there

So let me get this right? Hull's only concern is raising the maximum amount for children in need. If that is the case wouldn't it have been a good idea to ask all of us who are donating an extra pound to sign a 'gift aid' authority too, then they would have raised alot more. But as we are not donating and the pound has been included in the ticket price I don't think they would now be able to do that, shame really.

After reading the reply to Phil's email it's obvious Hull FC aren't going to give credit to the people that are actually donating the money. They've obviously came up with some round-the-houses reply and are showing how they're being "charitable" by bullsh*tting paying fans into thinking otherwise.

I'm not proud that Rovers rip Hull FC fans off every derby game regarding the South stand prices but at least it isn't disguised as charity, it's just a way of getting more money for our own cause.

And we are getting more money for another cause, CHARITY.

No, but whereas someone would raise money for charity by doing a bungie jump, dying their hair or run a marathon, nobody would raise money by walking around with a bucket, forcing people to donate at knife point (I know that's a tad dramatic, but forced charity is forced charity). My point is, Hull FC are doing [inothing[/i to justify putting their name to the donation, but the fans of both clubs are. If you don't see a problem with that then fair enough.

If the extra quid annoys people that much, why was there such a queue on Monday morning? I queued at CP for 2 1/2 hrs, got my tickets and never heard 1 person complain about this. It's just the odd poster on here that thinks they are representing the fans, well your not. Most of us ain't that petty, and have lives to lead.

I'm going to bow out now too. I too have purchased my tickets, but people need to remember that on an internet forum we are all entitled to an opinion. My opinion is that Hull FC are doing a good thing by donating funds they are making from the rugby league watching public of Hull, I just hope that that is the way it appears at any presentation to the charity.

For what it's worth, I hope it is a huge cheque.

Hull FC are not donating anything, the fans of HFC and HKR are. Hope the FANS raise lots of money for a very worthwhile charity.

Though i'm not a big fan of Jimmy Rule he gets 10 out of 10 for this one. After Rovers shenanigans last season regarding ticket prices he has played his ace card here.........................
