It reminds me of the names of the "Yule Lads". In Icelandic mythology, a gang of 13 trolls terrorise or reward kids on the days leading up to Xmas. I learnt all about them, with such names as 'Sausage Stealer' and 'Window Peeper'. Pancake Thrower is right up there.
