Tbf, it's not a result that does his longer term prospects any good at all. But it's early days still. The two teams we've been well beaten by have started the season well - playing a team like us that hasn't, is a factor in that admittedly.

It was always possible they'd take a while to gel and we knew we had a tough start.

Our attack does seem about as sharp as blancmange though. And we're still shipping plenty of points. Things need to improve, no doubt about it.

I just need to moan. Keating is not Dobson that's obvious, but what is he? Can't kick can't pass and his strong suit so we were told is defence, Cas were running over him. No leadership from him, no guiding the team around the pitch like a good halfback does...not even trying to. He is awful in every way. If there was a glimmer of light with him i'd lay off and observe for progress, but he is dreadful. Costigan??? To turn up to your new club that unfit is poor at best. He's had a run out in two friendlies and played in 3 games now and looks way off being fit. He tells us in the HDM that he's never fit! I'm concluding that he is finished. Remember Con Mika? twice the player Costigan is!! We don't look like breaking down a rank average side like Cas, I'm very worried for our prospects this season.
