Everyone is subject to a "nominal" renewal fee anyway, are you sure it's not just that?

Renewal fee for what? the club rovers membership? how long does membership last? im not sure to be honest but neither were the girls in the shop.

I'd imagine the "nominal renewal fee" will be less than £60, but probably dictated by the scheme's success come next season.

So in reality we dont really know how much we are saving until were made aware of the nominal renewal fee. Id like to think its only a small admin fee then.

Indeed. It's hasn't been rushed at all. Clearly something we've been working on long before James Elston was here. I believe it was actually Nick Halafihi who first thought of the idea.

Plus if (as a club member) you have not paid for your 2010 pass by 30/9/09 you won't get the 2011 pass at the frozen 2008 price whether members or not.

I'm also stunned that they have not disclosed how much the 'nominal renewal fee' is likely to be.

They told me in the shop i could pay over the 3 months of oct nov and dec and all would be ok. they plus she said we would have no worries getting half price hull away tickets as theres plenty to sell before the 2500 deadline.

It must have changed then, because on page 7 of the brochure it states the pass (i assume it means the 2010 pass) must be paid for by 30/9/09.

I think it has changed. When the brochure was first published, there was no 3-monthly payment plan. This option was put back on the table a few weeks later, as it was used by many last year.

I've begrudginly been to the shop today and paid my £60 for this farce of a scheme. I got my voucher for the half price derby ticket (so after 5 weeks still not 2500 ppl signed up) to be informed i would still not be garranteed a ticket and i could miss out if i didnt que half the day as i have in previous years , i thought it was a derby priority voucher how wrong i was

you would think if there are ,say,2000 members when the tickets go on sale they would hold back 2000 tickets for members to pick up

They will do but there will be a time scale to pick them up or pay the balance over the phone i would have thought

Thats what I meant so if you have a week or so to pick them up its not going to mean queing all day like before
