On reflection, I'll change my mind about Dobson, it is incredibly annoying when a player is constantly chirping in the referee's ear.

I think it was just frustration that we werent getting any of the 50-50s and you could tell Dobbo was just getting more annoyed as each one was given. But with any ref, Ganson in particular whining and getting at him constantly wont help and actually reduces the chance of your team getting any decisions. His first season as captain he will soon learn.

Without question (and for once) we certainly got the rob of the green on a few occasions, the common misnomer that the captain can question the referees decisions needs quashing.

I`m starting to lose patience with Sandercock and his tactics, i do understand that the Withers injury was bad luck. But after a season and a bit, i`m not taking to this guy at all. His reign as head coach could hinge on Travis Burns, and how effective he is. But playing behind a beaten pack, what can the guy do??. What i dont want to hear is what they should doing in the HDM, i`d rather the players keep stum and learn how to tackle, and Sandercock learns from the last two games and shows us he`s the coach that we wanted him to be (but i doubt it). I`m gunna give him the benifit untiil Travis has played a few games and we get a few injuries back. I`d be amazed if he can turn it around though.

I agree with you think we need to get a few players back that will be the decider for the board were sandercock is concerned I hope he proves that he is the coach to take us further, however once again the forwards arnt doing it for me, feel for dobbo at the minute we need a bit of umph and belief in ourselves

Got to say, as a Wakefield fan, that you were unlucky on Saturday. I thought your pack looks very good and in Dobson and Hall you have some real quality, 6 front line players injured would effect any team , plus Withers injury did not help. I also dod not think that Ganson did you any help 13 - 7 pen count would hurst any side. Even so you could have won, at half time I thought you were the stronger side and would go on to win. If it was nat on TV you would have won as Hodgsons ` try` and Fergies ` try` would have been given without the video ref. Plus Aitons try would not have been given. I still say your pack is a match for anyone and with two or three players back you will min more than you lose.

I think you're one of the only ones who thinks our pack looks very good! We do have real quality and have shown it in just about every game. The problem is it's only in patches and usually comes when we're multiple scores down already. The penalty count imo - was mainly caused by your dominance in the forwards, resulting in quick plays of the ball and our attempts to try and slow you down.

Some decisions went against us, but as a Rovers fan - I'd be kidding myself if I thought it was game we should have got any from.

Got to agree with both of you in a way, yes we could have won and in the end it was probably down to a few decisions going against us that we lost,, as was said the no tries would be tries if not on tv and would have changed the whole outcome of the game. Did we deserve to win it, not at all, the scoreline reflected the actual game and the difference in quality of play.

As I stated on another thread our injuries are masking our lack of improvement in three key areas, defence, attitude and togetherness. The problem being the players out coming back in will do little to improve the defensive frailties.

The other 2 are more complex problems and ultimately down to the coach, Morgan seemed to have a knack of getting better performances out of players, the last year being the exception. Sandercock has yet to provide me with evidence he can deliver this, can't think of one 'gritty underdog' performance under him. it will be interesting to see how he rectifies this.
