There is 2 isn't there, Hodgson and Clarke, both excellent hookers and IMO deserve to be in front of Houghton.

How is the signing of a player on loan better than our own player committing to another couple of seasons?

I've previously said I'd take Kebabdul on loan, but I hope his game time isn't at the expense of further developing our own halves, both Marsh and Harris.

Don't think Roby was in the squad, Houghton had a better season than him, the others it was close and hard to compare. I've always been part of the Houghton fan club and defended him against others, he isn't perfect, but a very good hooker. all the Yeaman ctitism was justified in the past, had a good season though, but the right time to retire as we need more attacking flair.

I meant he is a better player, you need 3 halfs, so Abdul, Marsh and an experienced signing.

I watch a lot of Hull academy, Harris is excellent, needs another season before first team though.

For me, an experienced half is a priority for me unless Blair is playing in the halves next year.

Not much about in experience halfs in the U.K., unless you can sign Finn, Soward still hasn't signed anywhere, if not it will have to a reserve NRL player. I sure you will all be happy the Prince rumours seem to have cooled.

I agree there's a couple who derail threads annoying as it is I don't think it will change anytime soon unfortunately

Finn would be a good organiser, and a decent championship player. But I'd worry about the Middle 8s if/when we get there with him. Soward would be my choice. Goal kicker to.
