Nothing official no only speculation on boards like this, even when speculation was rife he was not received by the fans any differently, he was cheered and supported the same as the rest of the team, it was made official after he had gone, and like I said had it being made offical and he had played he would have been recieved the same as Shaun Briscoe and other players were no differently. We played Wigan on the 22nd of April. McKinnon leaving was announced on the 1st of May.
There was nothing more than rumours on Twitter and here and he was never booed. I don't even understand why he would have been booed.

Don't apologise GS, your brother, an FC fan, told you that McKinnon was booed at the Wigan game due to rumours that he was leaving, he was at the Wigan game and witnessed it and passed it onto you before McKinnon was officially announced as leaving, so between the 22nd and the 1st, why would he make it up? He may have been in and around people booing that wasn't heard by Bet or East hull FC idiot, but that doesn't mean that it didn't happen.
