I was surprised that they had made Sio an offer (not because he isn't good enough - because he is), but I just assumed with all the rumblings last year that he wanted to be closer to home with his young family that he wouldn't even consider staying.

Waste of a bench spot, houghton is a better player when he plays long spells, like this year, so at most you would have Lunt playing 20 mins, not convinced Lunt is a top 4 hooker either.

Lunt Blair and Greenwood would walk into your 17 if Washbrook can get in it there's hope for is all

One trick pony, are you serious, Houghton is a great hooker and much more than a tackling machine, set up 18 try's this year, kicks well and causes problems when running from dummy half. Lunt wouldn't get in our 17 as we play with one hooker, I like Greenwood and has good potential but still wouldn't make our 17 yet IMO.

I'd have Blair though, might be a decent replacement for Ellis or Mini if you don't come back up.

Blair has no strike in him Dave, he's not big enough for our back row, he breaks the line & has no pace so kicks the ball.

Blair is quality, his defence is actually one of his best attributes, I have no idea or interest if he'd get in Hull's team but I've lost count of the times I've thought "that was a great tackle, who was it? Bobby."
