I agree the South terracing isn't ideal - I have stood over there so know what it is like - however, the North 'golf' stand was a very good viewing area yet your supporters hardly filled the middle section?

I went to last seasons FC v Giants match at the KC and the away enclosure looked sp to say the least.

Travelling army or not its still a rip off you wouldnt be happy if we made u all sit on the front rows and charged you say 30 quid for the privelage, i hope a few turn up to support our team but sadly many wont be.
As for armies,you lot have not exactly travelled in big numbers to our place last few years

we managed about 2000 at Wakefield two weeks ago so we have some travelling fans somewhere

I'm not on about having an 'army' as you like to put it what has that got to do with the issue ? i'm putting MY personal point of view over.....it matters not if there are 10,100 or 1000 Giants fans there, the fact is the facilities and cost for those faciliites is in no way value for money.
its not as if the club would give us hospitality boxes if we brought X amount.

and as for the game at the KC it was played at half past 12 on a sunday live on sky the day the town's football team played at Old Trafford in the play off final ....obviously those issues will affect a crowd !!.

I agree with the Shuddersfield fans. £18 is a complete joke, We'll put fans off in their droves even when the North stand is built they'll still be put off. Where effectively treating them like cattle who are being asked to pay for their own slaughter. £10 would be the maximum you could charge for this stand. Rovers have known about this predicament for a few months now. Stump up the money and build something till the new north stand is built. Having a good reputation for when the North stand is actually built sets it off on a good footing.

If there was a shiny new stand there and it was £8 to sit in it, Huddersfield fans would still fail to turn up, they have to reduce their season passes to a ridiculously low figure to get a home crowd.

Hudds actually brought a respectable amount last year - well, a lot more than previous visits anyway.
Obviously a guaranteed shellacking probably helped boost numbers, but their general fan numbers are improving I reckon. They're still good for an away numbers jibe - like us really.

To be fair i'd say we've brought more fans to your ground than you have to ours in recent years.

Scattering of fans in a big stand vs half full small stand - isn't clear evidence.

One thing I would say - Sky have a real hard on for our fixtures, so this distorts things a little, as in - I believe our previous 3 fixtures @ your gaff have been night time kick offs live on sky. Last year @ CP was also on sky ko 1745.

I'm sure the return fixture this year is a Monday night on sky, same kick off as Englands openning game of Euro 2012 against France.

The club needs to really look at this problem realistically, very very few people will pay 18 quid to peer off rotterdam docks to 'watch' a game. surely (and this is hypothetical numbers before anyone jumps in) 300 people paying just £8 due to poor stand view will bring in far more revenue than 50 paying £18, £2400 to £900, plus they will spend money in the ground etc on programmes and pies etc. makes sense given the circumstances to basically say to away fans, its e but its hardly gonna hit your wallet, but if you want to pay more and stand in the well you can. Otherwise even when the north stand is built, some people are likely to stay away

We could do a time share for Sundays game. I'll stand in my spot in the East stand for the first half, then I'll let a hudds fan stand there in the 2nd when I've had enough of watching their back line putting the ball down and celebrating.

When will the new stand be finished BTW.
