I say a supporter is someone who supports or makes an actual contribution to the club directly whether that be by attending games or buying merchandise etc.

A fan is someone who keeps an eye on results and goings on at the club through the media etc. - that the way I see it anyway.

Anyway, got 5 tickets for the game yesterday because I've got a sneaky feeling we may about to hit a run of form and win some games including this one.

Hull have an abundance of depth in the back row but we have more strike threat across the park so providing our discipline doesn't go to back to old habits, I can see a Rovers win.

They are shallow, like a lot of fans. Finally they are being found out, after a few years of bluster.

After all, their hardcore fanbase is 1500 at most, the rest just floaters.

I completely agree with your point, re fans and supporters.

You will have to work harder than that to get a bite.

I had originally decided on abstaining from this game. I thought about it alot and come to the conclusion that I was showing the same disrespect the Hull fans show when the game is at Craven Park so I've now been out and got my tickets

I don't think its disrespect as such but the accommodation on offer at either venue is poles apart. Not many grounds where you have take a telescope to watch the action. The South end needs sorting and I'm sure you'll see more away supporters.

We've built a brand new North. But TBF In years gone by you haven't brought enough fans to fill this 2600 seater North Stand. Hopefully with better facilities this will change.

Lets face it, when you have the north stand up and running we will fill it every year, our turnouts at your place have been very generous considering the absolutely disgraceful facilities you provide for away supporters. Anyway I'm not getting into that again.

I haven't attended an SL derby at Craven Park as the facilities are so poor, if you give us the new stand I'll be there every year.

can't say I'm that excited for Good Friday though to be honest, both teams are poor at the moment (we can't score, you can't defend) lets hope both teams can sort things out over the next 2 weeks and give us a good game.

How did your support match up to previous seasons?

Aprox 1'500 kr fans I heard. Still a decent turnout tbf

There wasn't that many, I'd put it nearer 1,000 tops. Poor to be honest. It's hard to tell at Bradford as half our lot head behind the sticks and half (where I was) down the side mingling with the Bulls lot. 1st time I've been and not got rained on, which sadly was the highlight of the day!

Hearing Panama playing before the game turned out to be the highlight for me

In years gone by Hull only had the south end which didn't hold more that 1500. I have been to all but one of the CP derbies since your lot got back into SL ( I missed last seasons Monday night game due to it clashing with a work event) . For all but one of the other games the south end has been full. This is despite it being poor view and then there is the discriminatory pricing which Hull fans were forced to pay for this poor view.

the question is, will Hull be offered the new North stand for future CP derbies or will this be offered to Rovers fans?

I find those who openly say they will watch the game in the pub peculiar people. Isn't the whole point of supporting your team that of actually cheering them on? If you are skint, fair enough, but if you can spend what will be an all dayer in the pub and claim your a fan, you are disrespecting your own players and other fans.

Will we fooook get the north stand , bang us in the deep south stand as per usual .

doubt it, not enough kr fans go at the minute to fill the ground as it is!

But your underestimating the spite of the Grudge

You are not taking account of the "rovers til I die" type fans who claim they went to Barrow, Batley, Workington etc etc but now only turn up for the derby.

I full expect that if and when the stand becomes operational, it will be offered to rovers fans before Hull FC get a look in.
