Ferguson would be a good addition to the squad, as long as we play him solely in the back row. He's likely to be a bench player when the squad is all fit (like that's ever gonna happen).

Quietly going about the recruitment process, I'm happy with that, no need to shout from the rooftops or pretend they are something that there are not. There's a couple of gambles in there, but that's the case with any recruitment, in any profession. It's all about value, and without knowing the finite details of player wages (I'm sure a queue will form at Myton Bridge to tell me them), the incoming players will be on a significant reduction from the outgoing. Where was the value in Webster, Clinton and (to a lesser extent due to injuries) Galea & Green?
