I've started to see the benefits of the Allams a bit more. No matter what people thought about their real intentions of just wanting to buy the KC, they have stuck by City and are investing, trying to make it a better club. If they just wanted the Stadium and have failed why would they continue to invest?

Gleeson will certainly improve the team for this season, for next season he will be a replacement for Jake Webster & whilst I'm sure he'll be better value he won't be better quality. Still, what use is quality when limping out wide or on the treatment table?

As for the extended contract whoever it is can only be a good thing (Hall/Hodgson/Taylor)

If it is Hally lets hope he applies himself better than Sunday,saying that he is wasted on the wing,he is one of those players who needs to have his hands on the ball more often otherwise he drifts off! Whatever. All squads need players such as Nev & Scott, unless you are in breach of the salary cap its a part of the process. Murrell has just been a better version of Washbrook, and he's carved himself a decent SL career thus far.

He really isn't. The Drighlington Dynamo is a fabulous Super League squad player.

Makes the absolute most of his talent, does whatever you ask of him and understands (this is his forte) a gap.

If any of the massive thickos that post on here want to understand how to accelerate a play and put someone into a gap then watch Scott Murrell.

I've never met him and I suspect he's as thick as pig but he understands Rugby League.
