Yes Dayvos, i am struggling, it seems i was wrong and have got it badly mixed up this time

and for that i apologise for my mistake.
I honestly thought we had won the Championship, the John player and the premiership or Yorkshie cup during the same season, i even used to have a picture on my office wall, taken during the early eighties with the team displaying three trophies, obviously they cant all have been won during the same season as i had previously believed, However i will console myself in the knowledge that i got the 900 Hull fc attendance figure correct,

although i wasn't sure of the extact year.

You could be getting one mixed up with the Eva Hardaker Cup

I guess when we won the league in '85 we simultaneously held it, the JPS Trophy and the Premiership (from the previous season)? Not a treble, but it perhaps meant we had 3 trophies at once and could explain the picture in your office.

Quite possible, actualy i'm pretty sure i still have that picture stored somewhere in my memorbilia collection, so i may have to dig it out sometime to see which trophies they actually were.

Speaking of defence , i hear that our reserve fullback Louis Sheriff, could be out for at least another six weeks with a knee ligament injury, he seems to be having a real hard time with injuries at the moment, hope he recovers quickly and has a good injury free run from then on.

He was looking really good in his come back game aswell. One cut out pass to Dave Scott was quality.
I was a bit annoyed watching him walk around after the game un-aided and up and down the East Stand steps. I'm not a medical man but i would have thought that having broken down in your first game after a knee reconstruction climbing steps would be a bit of a no no and it may have been sensible to give him a pair of crutches.

If he had a reaction to his knee after the game what the hell was he doing climbing stairs anyway, normally they have had crutches ant they after the game if there is a problem.
