There is a difference between think you can compete and wanting to win against saying we will win. With possibly the exceptions of Salford/Crusaders every other side should be setting their sights on the playoffs and then taking it from there. It's two competitions these days, you work all year for position and then try to win the thing. |

Although i know what your saying, if Salford are as succesful at beating bottom / mid table teams as they were with top of the table teams last season they to could be in the mix aswell.

Fair point, Salford making the 8 would be huge for them. I very much doubt it will happen though. |

His private goals were to be knocked out of the cc first round and notmake the play offs.
Wouldn't surprise me if he demands a pay rise when 'his' goals are reached!
