I dont rate Coley either but watching him every week he is a very hard working player and good to have in the pack.
Feka has lost weight so will be even better this season as he will stay on longer.
=redHe needs to, your pack gets bullied without him.
Who is better on the wing than Richards in super league, Donald is the only one who comes close, but Donald cant Kick and is not as good in the air as Richards, and is also not as versitile, Richards is also a decent leader.
=redTake away his goal kicking and id say Raynor, Fox and Gardner as an out and out wingman are just as good in their own way.

=redDont expect big things from a player injured and returning from Union.
Chev Walker struggled and he was a GB international.
Phelps is a good utility player, I would rather play some youngsters, but we have him and he does the job, him and Smith will have to show how good they are this season, they came half way through last season, we surley have not seen the best of either of them.

Goulding, is slowly moving towards super league standard, he is a very quick creative player, he will make it.
=redGibson at Leeds is better
Ainscough will be a star.
=redLets hope he isnt the Tommy Lee of Wigan after such a statement
Roberts has signed but has not been anounced, great signing, but dont see the need for him and Phelps, just Roberts would be good and use Goulding and Ainscough as Squad players, Phelps will probably get in before these two which isnt right.
Mathers, improved towards the end of the year and he will get his chance this year, but if he doesnt perform Richards will play there and he is as good as anyone at Full-back, he is better in the air than anyone in the league.

Tomkins will also be a great player.

Yes there are teams with good squads but, we have more strength in deapth than any team outside the top 2. And one of the top 4 starting 13's.

It is fairly predictable that first and second place will be battled out between Leeds and St Helens.
It is also fairly nailed on that the bottom two spots will be a scrap between Salford and Celtic. This is not a slight on these two clubs but given they have a 3 year safety net both teams have plenty of time to develop their squads to improve over the next two years.
All other placings are up for grabs. There is not that much between the majority of these clubs so I'm expecting the chase for the play-offs to go pretty much down to the last week of the regular season which should make for a good spectacle.

Blinkered. Calderwood has many good years ahead of him, don't let his balding head fool you. He will play alot better for FC where his ability will be put to good use.
Also on the fact th Brian Noble doesn't rate him, why didn't he name him in the GB sides of the past when he was SL top try scorer 2 years running. |

They were certainly the surprise package last season , with many predicting a bottom 3 finish at the start - particularly with Stacy Jones leaving.
3rd in the league and a CC final the season before shows how they have flourished - now they are generally down for a top 4 finish. |

It is my opinion that Rovers will [iprobably[/i finish higher than Huddersfield, Bradford and Wigan though as I say that is only [iprobably[/i and therefore certainly not good grounds for an evens bet.
It is also my opinion Rovers will certainly finish above Hull. |
