Briscoe is a good full back. The person who claimed he is the best FB in SL is deluded. Wellens, Webb, Reardon, Tony, Greenshields and McLinden off the top of my head are all better IMO. I wish him good luck but he's not the superstar you all seem to think he is.

All of the above can also play in the threequarters, but as much as I love him Briscoe cannot, and in todays game that has got to be a must.
We signed Byrne who can cover equally as good in all 3 positions FB, Centre, Wing, so we have got a 3 in 1 player.  |

Put Wellens in a poor team and he's a nothing player, hes overated and has had it to easy over the past few years. Briscoe outplayed him in every department today.

Briscoe is a class fullback. I am gutted we released him. Such is life. You have yourselves the Gb reserve fullback and a great great player IMO. Gutted.
