In this scenario, assuming you have unlimited cash, could you de-register 5 quota players, give them jobs as legal trainees at Hudgell's law firm on the same salary they are on now for playing rugby at Rovers, and sign 5 aussie internationals as long as you don't breach the cap? People have hinted this is sort of what happened to Hicks at Warrington, my point being is there a limit on de and re registration numbers as long as you're not re-signing in the same season?

term IMO), why make it easy for the RFL and limit the scope to the squad defined at the start of the season? Why not de-register at will and sign up loads of new quota players, maybe exchanging some of them for further new ones mid season. If you don't break the cap, and can afford to pay these players via, say, directors' other companies, why not? I admit it's very hypothetical, but rover49 made a good point and I'm just taking it to another level.

Its not new information, it's incorrect information. Jake was born in Melbourne, hence his international career with New Zealand!

Rovers have never attempted to revise his quota status.
