I have a runing bet with a mate that we will concede the first try within the first 5 minutes of every home game. Last season I was quids in. For some reason we dont come out of the shed with game faces on. Gotta change.

I know it is a long running theme with us, but today I think it was just a general need of cobweb blowing off for the first 15 mins or so. |

Yeah Ginge I was there, I thought even allowing for the weak Wigan side, there were some promising signs.
Thought Eden looked sharp, Griffin and Walker worked hard, Salter looks to be carrying on from his good run at the end of last season, but I think the new second row pairing of Paterson and Con Mikas thinner brother could be the highlight of the day for me, with Cox looking the part too.
Early days yet, but like I say, promising signs. |

Totally agree with the above eden is so fast and great to see the sprint from caro it took about 15 mins to blow of cobwebs thought beharrel was really good if patterson keeps that up hes gonna be a massive hit was grt to see whelham back to, still got burns and hally lovegrove to think hodgson at hooker made a fantastic difference and our young squad second half to nil a really good young wigan team did great  |

I thought wigans young side did wel if anything in the first 20 mins we didnt give them the credit they deserved what was really pleasing was our 2nd half was full of younsters baring a couple and we managed to nil them some great handling skills from caro and how many have we got that can kick goals loads is the answer
