I worked for one of Malcolm Healy's companies during the late seventies and eighties, actualy met him a couple of times when he came to take a look around the company premisses.
A very hard but fair minded businessman but i dont think he ever had any interest in any of the sports teams in Hull, the last time i heard he was setting up a new business in the USA, his Brother Eddie is into retail developments etc such as Meadow hall and others, so it could be him who's linked.
Malcom Healey also had one or two daughtes plus i believe at least one son who, the last time i heard lived somewhere in the west side of city, one of Healeys daughters was tragicaly murdered by her jealous boyfriend a few years ago.

Asked him tonight and north/south stands and he just laughed and said he knew i would ask. Didnt get much out of him about it if im honest, just that hes put more then 1 plan forward with regards to the south stand, 1 which incorporates the area behind the east stand as an academy/training facility for club and schools. Wouldnt say much more as he just said its all just in the planning stages.

There is a lot of rubbish spouted about the Healey's - they have never been 'the men behind Hull City in the shadows!' Neither is particularly sports-minded outside of golf or shooting!

EBuyer and Wren kitchens are just playthings for him.

Malcolm never sought any form of attention, so much so that the local media often describe him as "reclusive".

There is no way he would want the pressure or profile of being a sports club owner and, from what I know of Eddie, the same applies to him too.

TBH more involved in the set up of the SMC rather than being involved in City. When Pearson came on his white horse first time round it was the the internet guy, Peter Wilkinson. Think he set up freeserve and is worth £380 mill +. Whos cash Pearson played with.

Healeys were just in the capitalisation of the SMC and listed as directors from the off.

Worked at westella hall one time on swimming pool, Had a massive do for one of his kids birthdays once with 5star and others in the back yard lol,lovely fella who seemed very friendly and down to earth. Think malcolm and family were done over by robbers a few years back and held to ransom, not quite remember how it all ended though.

I think it was his daughters eighteenth bithday and if memory serves me correctly Bellinda Carlisle was also one of the acts he hired, i also remember when he married his second wife and gave the whole company one days holiday on full pay to celebrate the occasion, very generous.

Breaking news or just another rumour that's taken it's time getting to you?

To be fair he may just be highlighting something i heard in The Harry poole bar yesterday from someone who is quite well connected with the club regarding Mr Allam, the word is that, although he has not purchased the club as yet, negotations are apparently taking place.
Understandably there is only very limmited information (or rumour) coming out at the moment so we will just have to wait a little longer i guess to see if anything is officialy announced.

i think you were right. And didn't they get the blame for causing the crash because they were rehearsing on the bus. Everytime they sang 'You've got to speed it up' they followed it with 'Then you've got to slow it down' ands the driver got all confused lol.
