That's right. Obviously he'd been tearing it up during the numerous chances he had early in the season but because Gentle signed him FC ( despite being absolutely desperate for ability in the halves) decided that they wouldn't use him. Great theory.

Not entirely true. We started the season with Rankin and Horne. Then when one of them got injured we played Heremaia in the halves. It was several rounds before Miller got a chance. He played a few games and was then dropped never to be seen again. Also he hardly featured in pre-season, which suggests Radford never rated him from the off. He may not be good enough but he hasn't been handled very well either IMO.

If he was any good he would have had plenty of chances. IMO. We saw enough of him to know that the previous season.

Biggest exaggeration ever

It's hardly controversial to suggest there were/are a group of players signed by Gentle on supposedly inflated contracts that Radford has been/is seeking to move on from Hull FC. Adam Pearson himself has said as much. Along with McDonnell, Arundle and perhaps a couple of others this has generally been considered to include Miller.
The impression I got was that while Radford could have tried to get some value from them, he decided to bite the bullet and give opportunities to players he wants to retain going forward. I've seen Hull fans voice similar opinions on the Hull board - which, unless we do sign Miller, is where this discussion belongs really.

Few jokes improve with repetition. While I admit the same is true of a good deal of the trolling we get, attacking posts, rather than posters makes for more interesting reading.

Agreed - not sure why you mentioned it on here. But as a final point - had Miller been any good he would have made it at FC. He might even have influenced games to the extent that he was first choice half there now. In other words - he hasn't been good enough over a season and a bit which is why he's not playing. The fact he was signed by Gentle and McRae is irrelevant.

Sione Mataútia is better than him, and basically took his spot in firstgrade when he turned 18 and was able to be named. Sione went on to score 7 tries in 7 games and is described by Wayne Bennett as a future great of the game.
Josh won't be getting his spot back from Sione anytime soon - and you won't be signing anyone like Sione either.
