The smoke bomb thrown by the lad in the white t-shirt was at the final whistle, he held it then threw it on an open part of the pitch, not at anyone just on the pitch. He hung around for a while then when h came down the stairs the police arrested him, job done. No maice in it but he did break the rules so he has to face the consequences .

In the main the KR fans were no problem outside the ground before and after, top set of guys had a great chat with a fair few.

Forget breaking the rules, he broke the law....football offences act. Sure he, and the bottle thrower will find cheshire constabulary's facilities very.....errrrr....cosy

Sweeping statements implies the FC haven't caused me many problems or that i'v never had trouble with them.
Unfortunately for myself and a friend who doesn't attend rugby since a game at FC that isn't the case, i wouldn't go on record if it was hearsay, that's not my way.

I left with about 30 seconds to go. I saw a bottle thrown which was picked up by Briers and a second which landed close to (and maybe hit) Tim Roby. I didn't see the smoke bomb if this was throw after the final hooter but surely that is three missiles which have been thrown.

I sit in the North Stand (home fan) and did see our stadium manager, head steward and the RFL Match Commissioner in discussions after the bottle which landed near Tim Toby so it looks like their will be repercussions.

I had a great day today. I go every week and took a friend to his first RL game. We had great banter with Hull KR fans pre-game around the ground and in pubs so I hope the guys who threw the three missiles are identified and banned so you lot aren't tarnished with the same brush.

So after a Hull game your friend stopped attending all RL games?

No but they cost him well over 1k, to this day he can't be bothered with RL, personally i've had more grief.

At the end of the day minority or not, it tarnishes an image of a club, something i've not had with ther fans.

I don't bang a drum and I can hear perfectly well, hence the reason I've never thrown one. I won't however kick off over someone throwing something that doesn't cause anyone harm. If he had thrown it at someone with the aim to hit them then that would not be ok.




They can't stop you from having it as they are 100% legal indoors and have no effect upon other peoples health.




I understand it's the law, and would never use one myself as it's not worth going to prison/criminal reccord. All I'm saying is that personally I don't see a problem with them. I'm sure there are real crimes being committed that could be tackled instead of a bloke throwing a smoke bomb.


If it makes me a scumbag to have an opinion then fine. A lot of you may want to think back to when RL used to be like football with casuals and hooligans and proper fights and brawls. And then think how lucky you are that the most to happen these days is someone throwing a plastic bottle and a can that makes coloured smoke.

Someone should just grab hold of him and shove it up his ass.

Given that the HJ is private property, the owners can set whatever rules they want. Ok, they cant stop you using them...but they can ask you to leave if you want to. Infact most sports venues have this rule.

Simply not true.... Guidelines are set down by the RFL for grounds etc and they have to abide by them as to whether they agree to them or not...

I don't hope there's trouble at all Sheldon quite the opposite in fact I just feel with 7hours drinking before the game and every club has it's idiots and the crowd I feel will be a lot bigger then the usual semi finals I will be surprised if there isn't trouble
