You "get away" with calling us "scum" on here.

It's not all about average league attendances. What both clubs desperately need is a Cup run. Actually a Cup final.

Get to Wembley and you can pretty much guarantee £250k in the bank with prize money, a cut of the gate receipts and merchandise.

Hull have been knocked out at the fourth round stage three times in the last four years. There's little money to be made in the earlier rounds these days.

At the time of buying them they had posted a profit of £32,000 on crowd averages of 13,753
He stated that there had been a lot of under investment at the club and would work to put that right.
So you would reasonably assume that the clubs running costs and the level of investment has increased
since Adam Pearson made the statement.

in 2010 Hull FC posted a £32,000 profit on crowd averages of 13,753
in 2011 Hull FC posted a £250,000 loss on crowd averages of 12,418
in 2012 Hull FC posted a £500,000 loss on crowd averages of 11,888
So far Hull FC are 3,200 fans down on the same fixtures from 2012 even
after the £5 entry for the Cas game and £10 bring a friend offers for the Catalans and Hull KR game
so you could assume that this years losses will be greater than last seasons

Crowd figures are not the full picture but you can see that there is a relationship between
crowd figures and profit even after ignoring all the other factors like sponsorship (Minstergate), corporate
hospitality and merchandise sales (40% off everything again).

Maybe Mrs B could pick the bones out of the above and help you out with a response.
