Celebrating my old boss's retirement. I've not had a hangover in a while, I'd even forgotten just how yucky they are.

Lesson learned for few months at least!

I was once involved in a competition to see who could stay drunk the longest, I managed about three days (the winner managed about a week if I remember correctly) which was quite a good effort I thought given that my job at the time involved very large sharp knives.

That was a bad hangover.

I'm being very good just lately, I've not had any alcohol since Sat night.

Can't decide which used to be worst, the actual hangover or cheery friends telling what I'd done or said. Then there was that awful moment of actually remembering what I'd done! Never really, really bad things, just embarrassing to remember.

Getting drunk is fun, but being drunk actually isn't especially. And then you get a hangover.

Symptoms
For some synaesthetes, certain concepts that come in sequences - such as days of the week, months of the year, decades, letters, numbers, and so on - are experienced in a particular spatial orientation.

For example, some see the months of the year in a running track shape, with, say, August and September taking up most of the right-hand side and the rest of the months squashed on the left. Or they might see the numbers one to ten from left to right, then ten to 20 going upwards, and 20 to 30 over their right shoulder, and so on. People who experience a visual week or year are often able to use this information to recall times and dates extremely well.

This is clearly just madness.

No idea what your on about, but I do see countries as colours.
France is Pink, Germany, Green. Belgium, Blue. Italy, Yellow....

Hopefully they will arrive before Christmas, then you can celebrate big time.

That's the gist of it, but nowhere as intense as some people have it.

Monday is white, Tuesday, a sort of primrose yellow, Wednesday, green, Thursday , brownish Friday, very deep rich brown, Saturday, a nice Rover's red and Sunday, silver.

I always associate Wednesday with Orange, guess I'm a sucker for marketing.
