So what, do we ask the RFL to postpone all games until each club has a 100% fit squad or do we gat on with the job and go out and beat who we are facing, which is what we did. We are second on MERIT, it might or might not last, but at the moment we are playing good quality rugby and winning regularly.

1) Yes they were under strength,, no one can deny that. However they have still got some good results recently, you could argue better ones then when their missing players were included. Teams tent to pull together in adversity ask Wakey (but not HUll fc)

2)Put it this way we had Walker, Cockayne, fozzard and Lovegrove (that is four, in case you can't count) missing, who WOULD have all made the team.

i agree with fozzard and lovegrove the way they have been playing but surely on form at the minute welham is ahead of walker and briscoe is ahead of cockayne

Walker was actually on instead of Jake not Welham at the beginning of season, and Charlie was playing as an impact player off the bench not playing at FB.

The players Catalans had missing yesterday meant Rovers were always going to win tbh. Despite them struggling early on they had picked up from recently but they were severely hampered by the players they had out yesterday, anyone can see that.

As for being second I would say its irrelevant right now, 3 points seperate 2nd-8th so it will change week on week right now although its always good to see your team up there.

The biggest compliment I could pay Rovers and what Rovers fans should be excited about is the style of rugby you are playing. I watched your tries and was very impressed at the speed and width of Rovers play.

I expected around 20 points difference tbh, could not see a way Cats could win.

TBF Paul Rovers are playing the kind of rugby Hull can only dream of. The biggest recent mistake Hull have made (and there have been many to choose from) was not signing Dobson. Yesterday he was truly outstanding and for him to control the game in the way he did was immense for a 22 year old. If he is on £100k as some say then he is worth every penny.

The gap between the two Hull clubs may be 3 points but in reality Rovers are light years ahead of Hull and they are far more entertaining. Having seen both teams this weekend is cannot believe how different they are in terms if genuine footie ability. The gap between them is immense.
