According to the bit I read in the paper today Misi signed a 12 month contract with Hull KR. But was then told he wasn't wanted and released from it without pay. How can they just release him without paying his contract up?

But the matter's not closed. Rovers CEO said he was very excited about Misi playing for Rovers. That is the only official communication on the matter. If Rule had said Heremaia was coming to Hull, he didn't arrive, wasn't given a squad number but there was no official announcement FC would be on the end of accusations of not keeping fans informed and claims were were subject to "mushroom" communication methodology. Quite rightly so.

Until Rovers confirm otherwise, he's a Rovers player. Locking the thread would just look like trying to sweep inadequate communication and allegedly shabby treatment of a championship player under the carpet.

He's a decent enough player, but Rovers now have better options. Who said you have to play for a club before they let you go?
