A light bulb is a specific "lamp", named so because of its shape. It's perfectly acceptable to be called such, however, you wouldn't have much luck going into an wholesalers and asking "can I have a light bulb for my floodlights?".

Candles? Candle power is a measurement more suited to spot intensity, not applicable with flood lights. If they choose to use 400w metal halide, they give off roughly 38k lumens, each. Wow.
