I think its a real problem for us and attendances will now level out.

The majority of potential extra home fans want to be in the East Stand and who can blame them? This needs extending asap.

Getting away fans to CP is an area that needs addressing very soon. We need to stop talking about our own and Hulls away support with other fans and start asking why away support coming into CP is so low.

Do hull get a lot more away support than us? if so how much more and would it be enough to warrant paying for away support facilities before home fans. it only really affects hull fans at the moment and imo they should not be charged more than a tenner for that stand

Well we took about 2,500 closing in on 3,000 to FC, i doubt you'll see the same sort of numbers at your place though and reason for that is fans don't like to be put in a cage type thing at the other end of your ground.

What cage type thing would that be then?

The city and fans reputation put people off. Especially those with young children.

Having to pay £20 to sit in an uncovered stand. The weather was lovely yesterday but if it had rained we would of got p!ss wet through. The Willows isn't a palace but at least if it rains you'll remain dry.

That you stuck us in 2005 i believe ? Both sides locked and some of your fans goading us, couldn't see the game. Definitely felt like a cage to me although i will be at CP this year.

Im not saying we need to pay for away support facilities first. I said the East Stand extension needs doing asap and that we need to look at reasons why away fans arent coming.

No way, were there 200 Salford fans in atendance yesterday, you could see when they all jumped up after they scored that there were no more than about 40-50 of them, very poor folllowing from Salford imo

TBF i think the poor view the away fans get has a bearing on the number of away supporters attending CP. I don't like standing at an end at the best of times but the view from the North and South stands at CP is appalling.

Depends where you're sat in that stand. It also a little disconcerting being sat in such a ramshackle facility.

North stand view is no worse than the view from most of the away stands in the League, with the exceptions of the JJB, the Galapharm and the KC which are far superior.

I'd rate Bradford, Quins, and Wire better than your view from the North stand.

I think the main problem with away fans not wanting to come is because there is no way to generate any atmosphere what so ever, can't make any noise etc.

balls, we manage to generate atmosphere where ever we go, just excuses IMO.

So what do people suggest we do about it? Pour all of our time and money into meeting away supporters' strangely high standards for watching 80 minutes of Rugby League? I've stood in The Well for years, we get wet when it rains, cold when it's winter and hardly ever any sunshine in the summer, but I'm there to watch a game of Rugby League, not have a picnic and a game of frizbee.

People complain about our ground purely because they can.

We had a 40 seater coach which was full and i know quite a few more that were there yesterday so there was more than 40, around 100-150.

I'm all for having a dig at Rovers but thats just silly.
the away end at odsal is just as bad as the south stand at Craven park

Yeh, we were and for me the view at Odsal is very good, you can see everything if your high up.
