Brill lovely weather and my only complaint,was the bloody Russians on our 3 rd week 400 turned up,and they were animals they celebrate their Xmas Jan 6th we were glad to go home Jan 7th away from them and thanks for telling smallholders what i meant

Yeah floodlights will be on those big towers.

They are lamps and not bulbs.

You may want to tell Phillips, GEC and Osram this seeing as all 3 sell them with 'Light Bulb' written clearly on the box.

I hope they have allowed for the roof with these new floodlights...because atm from what i have seen they don`t look as if they will have enough clearance to avoid casting a shadow from the roof onto the pitch.....

Built in the wrong place, wrong colour, wonky walls, flood lights blocked by the roof. I wish we'd never bothered.

The technical term is lamp.

That is why you don't buy bulb shades.

Personally I thought a lamp was the whole fitting/object and a bulb was what you put in a lamp. Anyway if you insist I'm wrong then I'll accept that.
