Run with the Robins for the Jane Tomlinson 10K.

About 30 ran last year.

Ah, I'd have done that if I'd known.

Still 6 weeks before the race so plenty of time.
It's doable even for a first time runner.
It's also free to enter if you register through HKR.
Last year 50% of the money raised went to The Jane Tomlinson fund
and 50% went to the HKR Aus trip.

Start at 6:30pm from the Robins nest.
People of all ages and levels. the youngest is about 9yrs old
and the oldest about 60yrs old.
Some run about 2 miles and some do a 5k route.
There is also a run at 6:30pm on a Wednesday starting at Woodford.
You can also join in the East park run on a Saturday morning starting
at 9am. It's a 5K run that is just over 2 laps of the lake.
About 300 run on a Saturday. There is a good mix of Hull FC and Rovers
fans that run on a Saturday.

I think Hull FC did something similar last year. Remember seeing FC fans running along with James Webster and James Rule.

How much will that cost me for the race? Is there a minimum sponsorship?

There isn't a minimum amount set for sponsorship.
Last year they set different prizes for different levels of sponsorship.
Not sure if they are doing it this year.
Some of the runners raised enough to get a free sit down meal and West stand
Seat at the Wakefield game last year.
Jane Tomlinson’s Husband and daughter attended the game.
They sat at our table and thanked all the runners for taking part.

I was making a serious , yet tongue in cheek , point about the $ to refurb when it is built. Does Hudge have any room at the bank or backers , as you are getting further away from your 10k break even ? I am not joking , is there a countless amount of credit ? Will you have to get the fans to paint the inside , just like clearing the snow ?
Will the Stand come too late ? Will the Egyptian buy you and do a merger ? and we all move to the new CP ? Have AP and AA sewn us all up like kippers in a way that D Lloyd and Wilby didn't manage ?

Look at the mock ups again.
The stand takes up about 1/2 of all the land cleared the rest is car parking and landscaping.

So have we bought the poundstretcher and knocking it down then?

There is no need there is plenty of room to get those views in with poundstreacher still there.
That was why I said only 1/2 the build is stand.

Whats the bit on the side next to the Millward stand? Exec boxes? doubt if the sight lines would me amazing without blocking the view from the Millward.

Would have been an idea to "angle" some seats from the Millward to the north end, i.e. the nearer the north end of the block of seats the nearer the touchline

These photos prove this point rather well.
You would be able to see the wholes stand and the landscaping in exactly the same way as in the artistis impressions and poundstretcher is nowhere to be seen due to the angle.
