I think my use of the term 'just' is more desperation for us to get a satisfactory deal done and out of the way so fans don't start to panic. Obviously a couple more solid signings are required but the priority really is to replace Mick. It's a well known saying that forwards win you games and backs decide by how many. He's an NRL GF & WCC winner so his pedigree is exactly what we are looking for. Plus, it's massive to be able to attract a player who is possibly still in the prime of his career and not over 30!

Some positive news at last, has a bit of pedigree, hopefully a signing in the mould of Vella rather than Clinton

Really pleased with this signing. Was playing Origin and for Australia in 2010. Exactly the type of experienced player we need to help bring on our youngsters. The fact he's signed a 2 year deal sends a clear message to other potential recruits that the club is in a better position than some think and moving in the right direction!

Comes with a good pedigree. good signing on paper, no reason he shouldn't do it on the pitch.

Keep this guy fit and we a real quality player, superb go forward and a wealth of knowledge to pass on. Well done Rovers!
