I think that is the crux of the matter , he has been elevated to international rugby due to him playing in a very good side , who can score lots of tries.

Ha, shall we compare Fox's medals and rep honours to Gardner's? One swallow does not make a summer. Fox has been great and he had a good game the other night, but writing Gardner off on the basis of that game is nearly as ridiculous as the hull fans on here championing Calderwood's cause.

Were there any England players not found out in the WC?
I'm with Reddan on this one. It's ok saying Gardner is nothing without Gidley but the lad clearly has some ability to even be in the position of partnering Gidley in the Saints side.
