You didn't need Willie for the Crusaders game, you'll beat them easily why not just wait till Willies Tongan passport came through? Why bring all this on yourselves when it was unavoidable? The RFL have explicitly stated that Rovers do [inot[/i currently have permission to re-register him this season.

It will be interesting to see how they justify giving that permission later. I imagine that a few of the other clubs might raise an objection or two.

If rovers have Ballsed it up its they're problem and they will have to sort it

End of the day, the club has a lot more knowledge than we do on what can and can't be done.

We can pull these rules out from a PDF all day, but I'm fairly sure that the club would not have risked losing Dobson by doing this.

A weeks time this will all be forgotten.

With Dobson saying to people he is still a Hull KR player, I would take his word over the RFLs.

I hope he knows he cant take part in any Hull KR stuff then, you with him being deregistered, tell him next time you speak to him wont you.

If you're paying him now then you're in breach of both RFL rules and his visa conditions.

I have no doubt that Dobson still [iconsiders[/i himself to be a Rovers player, and has no plans to go elsewhere at this time. He is, however, wrong. Right now he is unemployed and should in fact not be taking any part in any activities for Rovers.

Technically, yes. Although I imagine that there are any number of ways around that as long as he isn't physically present at Rovers facilities or with Rovers employees.

One thing I aren't 100% on though is who exactly is 'The Board'?

Is it the representitives from each club, or indeed some RFL board?

If from each club, I can't imagine many clubs agreeing to the re-registration.

A quick scan through the Op Rules would suggest that it's the RFL's board of directors rather than the board of club representatives. Should be a done deal then.
