| Regarding Addy. Just a genuine question; By my own admission I'm no scholar of the game but I think I can identify when a back has a bad game Eg bad defensively, can't convert opportunities or susceptible under a high ball but I find it difficult to gauge how a forward is performing. Eg When everyone was raving about Robbie Mulhern I couldn't see what was distinguishing him from the rest.
Any subtle pointers to look out for in my next game...?

He’s an injury away from a regular place in a team that has a good shot at silverware, i assume. And then there’s the commute/need to move.
He is ooc this year, though, so I guess he might want to put himself in the shop window. Signed a 3-year with Saints in November 2016.

He’s young enough to play a couple more years, I guess (32 in May).

There is no secret to it. Basically, is he physically dominant? You can talk all you like about the wrestle, finding your front, offloading, playing at the line etc etc. But ateotd if you don't make metres and you don't hit hard you can't be a great prop. Some guys might have more strings to their bow. Some might be good ball players, some might have good footwork, some might play for 60 or 70 minutes. But what all the good ones have in common is that they bend the line and make ground.

| When confidence is low and you want the manager to come out with an epic Churchillian speach Sheen's comes out and down plays the importance of the Leeds game ffs. Stating there's plenty more games left, its only Saints after that but not to worry Tim as there'll be plenty of games left after that aswell.
IMO he's too laid back for a relegation battle, when harsh words are needed he's softly softly.

Addy is at best an average utility player, he can cover various positions without excelling at any of them, makes plenty of errors and gives away needless penalties. He should be no where near any fit 17 IMO.

| Points difference tells a story if you look at the league. Rovers are just leaking too many points to compete. Let’s be realistic, Leeds are poor. Anyone else apart from rovers and London would turned them over with ease today.

Absolutely! Another great 40 minute game! Something is seriously wrong with our approach to games, and the coach has to take the blame.

| Imo, fans tend to stress effort, attitude and desire. And there’s probably some of that. Maybe though there’s some comfort in that because it seems fairly easy to fix, or it justifies anger, which is over and done with more quickly that despondency.
The underlying issue imo is the amount of quality we have been able to get out on the pitch in recent SL seasons. The teams we’ve fielded have been generally undersized, injury-ravaged and error-prone. Grit-toothed determination and rousing half-time speeches are not going to regularly bridge the gap.
The club did magnificently to pull itself out of the mire in 2017 and 2018, but we’ve been feeding on scraps to build our squads for a while. I don’t mean to be disrespectful, and there’s some good pros in there, but not many who’d scare opponents.
Anyway, i’m going to renew my lapsed lottery membership as a way of making myself feel better, virtue signalling or whatever.

| Now seriously in the brown stuff.Every game without a win and it gets worse. At some point London are going to win and we can,t seem to buy one. Points diff is worth a league point when teams are level on wins, losses, draws, and it,s a sorry state when we might have to rely on exactly that. Oh well next up Saints and that does not bode well. Maybe we will eventually get some bodies back, maybe we will win some games, maybe we will get through a game without losing another player to injury, maybe I will win the lottery(but I won,t).Something has to change and quick.
On a positive note we eventually scored a few points, but defence is killing us.
Does this team have it in them mentally to start playing smart, ie, completing sets, not giving away cheap possession, slowing it down if and when in front, play boring if necessary, value possession and let the opposition make the mistakes. This team seems a bit dumb at times or am I been too harsh? Bottom line..too many are not up to it.
If we go down, we will deserve too,but with this squad, even with the injuries we have we should not. If we do, that,s down to the coach. Even average/poor teams can win with the right tactics, and we need some wins by whatever it takes.

Yes absolutely, Rovers have now officially the worst defence in super league.
Defence wins you games, and on that basis Rovers haven't a chance of remaining In super league in my opinion unless a major change is made within the coaching set up and London become even worse than they currently are. We are going from bad to worse at the moment and once again things don't look good at all.

Just got to say that if you take the really bad thumpings by Saints and Warrington out of it, then for the most we have competed in all the other games.
I still think you will be okay as London's heads have gone down now after a good start, but should you lose to London then it will be a problem.

| What galled me after the Leeds game was Sheens saying 'At least our supporters didn't boo us' WTF? I'm sorry, he was once a good coach but his time is up. If we can limp through to the end of the season then we should start looking elsewhere for someone who is hungry and not someone who gauges performances on whether the supporters booed them or not.

| I recently joined the Sheens Out brigade after defending him for a long time.
It's gonna take a consistent run of wins to change my mind.
Time for the team to back up the CC win.

| I'm all for Sheen's time coming to an end now too. Hardly the Wizard we thought he'd turn out to be... more like a Tommy Cooper style crap magician. I'm viewing the silence over his contract extension as a positive.
Ive not seen any stats to support this, but reckon his record can't be much better than Sandercock's or Chester's...if at all. Don't know who we could get in though. Whoever it is will have their work cut out turning this set of chumps in to a decent, winning team. Second half was awful last night.

| This team has no killer instinct and a weak defensive mentality, plus stupid decision making. No more excuses after that last night. Our survival in SL is in serious doubt, that stops with the boss.

| If we lose to Warrington in the cup he has to go, i said it a few weeks ago that he's too laid back for a relagation battle and nothings changed my mind, infact his post match interview yesterday he said it's too early to even think about relegation, delusional IMO.
We had our strongest team out for quite a while last night, a good strong bench too, the chance to bring on some speed at hooker and we choked,
When were leading at half time we turn off and losing at half time we (sometimes) turn on.
Were in a situation were a bit of Alex Fergusons hair dryer treatment is needed but Sheens likes to molly coddle.
Things need to change and change quickly

| London have beaten Wakefield, we are joint bottom, relegation looms. Are you worried now Tim.You should be, if you are not....why the hell not????Get a grip of this team, they are not doing what is needed. Your job is to sort it, and quick, and if you cannot do it, someone else should, they could not do worse than be bottom.
