The defeat highlighted the lack of depth in FCs squad, something we know and suffered last season.

Wigan apart, I don't think any teams squad depth is great. most teams struggle when they have 5/6 key players out, no excuses last night it was appalling.

Salford look very good, really kicked on from last year and making a big impact on SL, Watson is proving to be a good coach when he is allowed to do it his way.

I wonder if you had won that game you would be fighting for the top 4?

Yes those players Sheens brought in and the pattern of play they have seems to be paying off.

I've just watched a post Swinton match interview with Tim Sheens on Hull KR.TV.

For those that don't have it, he said on camera that 8 players will be returning from injury this week and available for the Easter games.

No Minns. Horne and Lawler have minor knocks and may miss out against Fev but be OK for Toulouse.

Docker-Clay has had stitches in the mouth wound caused by the Bracek elbow but will be available for selection against Fev.

Sounds like we can expect to see ZDC in the halfs at some point, with us exploiting Abdull's versatility - possibly at centre?! With ball I can imagine JA making a go of that, but I'd worry a little bit about him getting stood up in defence.

Worryingly, Minns is still not available after concussion. I'm sure during last season they said if he suffered again it would be career threatening.

I'm worried about Minns too. Fully expected him to be named in the squad to face Leigh this week. On this season's form alone, he's tough to replace.

Real shame about Donaldson, who had run in to some good form and was scoring a lot of tries.

We do seem to have had more than our share of season- and even career-enders these last few years. Addy is out for a few weeks again as well, so Sheens will have to restructure the team a bit.
