Don't you f*cking start it's bad enough every other SL fan wanting us to go down without our own agreeing! Think HKR would be in a much better position to come straight back up and we'd struggle big time after a mass exodus. But I guess I have to agree, we're pretty f*cked ATM, we just can't get anything right and what promised to be the best season in my 27 years supporting is likely to end in the worst!
The joys of being a Salford fan eh?! Anyway, let's hope it's a great game next week and both teams do themselves justice and the best team on the day wins. And afterwards both sets of fans behave (we both know we have the numpty element) and we can console/congratulate each other over a few beers.

| You'd probably be better playing it away from home going on your last 2 televised home games. Too much pressure from the east stand massive?

| I feel Hull Kr have lost all momentum as a club, yes there was the CC final last year.
In the subsequent years following promotion under Morgan it felt like KR were ''building something'', culminating in 4th place finish at end of regular season in 2009. But now it's just meh. Win won lose one, beat st helens lose to wakefield, lose by 70 to wigan, beat warrington by 40, you know? Just the classic stuck in limbo mid table team.

No sherlock, it's the number of points I was saying was harsh. Plenty of teams done it previously and got less when their offences were equal if not similar. We got 6 points because of Koukash and his disdain for the RFL. Any other team would have got less.

Yeah, that's pretty much exactly my take on it.
We've been floundering about looking for meaningful new direction for about 5 years.
Sort of fell between the stools of being ambitious and pushing on, and being a compact/balanced smaller SL club.
With the appointment of the experienced Sheens to hopefully balance Peacock's idealism and narrow long-term focus, it feels like the 'passivity' of the last few years is coming to an end. Might just be too late, unfortunately. I very much hope not, obviously.

The combination should get Hull Kr moving forward again, but so called mid level teams only seem to be able to move forward up to a certain point, before they plateau and then start declining. Cas are a good example, they have been moving forward and building momentum the last few seasons since powel took over. They are pretty much at the plateau point, but instead of being able to kick on and for example break through and make a grand final appearance they'll tread water and eventually hit abit of a decline. It's incredibly hard for teams to make that breakthrough.

No pressure from the East Stand yesterday Jakey Boy just stunned silence in the first half as to how crap and half d we were. No speed and urgency all round. Couple this with seasoned professionals like Lunt, Campese, Mantellato and Donaldson playing like squidgy headed dicks. Chucking daft passes, needlessly forcing passes, gifting tries, making idiotic decisions, switching off at marker.
We upped the intensity and effort in the second half, the East Stand and the whole crowd appreciated it, got behind the team and nearly got them over the line. In the final analysis, we couldn't finish them off, despite opportunities.
We could repeat same next week. That's my worry. We are currently a team incapable of stringing a ruthless 80 minute performance together, home or away.

No, I don't think anybody has mentioned it or tried to draw attention to it on any forum.

got to agree KR fans this is a dead rubber for you Salford have gone they where terrible last week and they haven't really put Batley to the sword today either. I hope you win the super league would be a poorer place with you not in it and Salford up still, you deserve your place you support your team come rain or shine and travel in big numbers putting money in the pockets of all other clubs and creating a great atmosphere from a none bias point of view every neutral should be willing you to win and when you do the super league will breath a sigh of relief good luck and I mean that
