Terrific effort last night,if we played half as well against wakey we would have won easily.It seems the chester sacking has changed the way we play,some terrific performances last night,tilse,lawler,walker and blair especially and thought young shaw made a very promising full debut.The biggest disappointment for me was sio hardly got into the game and felt the decision to disallow shaw's"try" was the turning point,instead of going in with a 10/12 point lead would have been a big boost to us and a body blow to saints.A much improved effort though,kelly hamstring and clarkson concussion big doubts for next week.

A much better performance last night. We gave it a real go and played with passion and pride which is all you can ask. Saints strangled us in the end with the goal line drop outs and penalties. We couldn’t handle Makinson in the air and in the end spent too much time defending second half. Roby was outstanding for them.

On another day we would have got the Shaw decision which was the turning point. Tilse was a different player last night and looked like the NRL player we signed rather than the Karl Pilkington that turned up.
